What to expect

Your child's FREE 30-minute trial class is a relaxed, one-to-one online session with one of our British-qualified teachers. Book the day and time that is most convenient for you. It's designed to help us get to know your child, understand their current reading, spelling and phonics skills, and identify where they are doing well and where they may benefit from additional support. It's also a chance for you and your child to experience our teaching style and see whether The Phonics School feels like the right fit. The more information you share when booking, the more we can personalise the session to your child's age, ability and individual needs. During the session, we'll: - Explore your child's reading, spelling and phonics skills through engaging, age-appropriate activities. - Identify any areas where they may need additional support that could be affecting their confidence or progress. - Explain what your child is doing well and what skills they could focus on next. - Give you honest, personalised recommendations about the best next steps, with absolutely no obligation to book lessons afterwards. After the trial, you'll receive written feedback so you can review our observations and recommendations in your own time. How it works All of our trial classes are delivered live online with a British teacher. Your child can join using a laptop, desktop computer or tablet.
